Key Funding Initiatives – Logic Models

The Weld Trust has Six Key Funding Initiatives

The Weld Trust will support the development of career paths, STEM, and vocational/technical training opportunities, as well as collaborative initiatives that provide essential services (such as tutoring, mentoring, and before/after school programs) for K-12 students in Weld County.

The Weld Trust will work with nonprofit agencies, schools, and government entities through Weld County to fund behavioral health resources for children, youth, and families in need. The Weld Trust will fund the development of programs for youth in Weld County that focus on mental wellness and will fund crisis intervention resources and services.

The Weld Trust will support organizations that can improve childhood literacy education and resources for families. The Weld Trust will also fund organizations that market and promote quality resources for families that will improve childhood literacy. Our goal here is to increase the percentage of students reading by third grade, which research shows to increase overall graduation rates.

The Weld Trust will convene collaborative partners that are providing food security to determine priorities countywide and fund collaborative programs and resources that put nutritious food in the hands of people in need across Weld County.

The Weld Trust will support efforts by organizations or collaborations that address the needs of the most vulnerable populations experiencing housing instability.

The Weld Trust will support programs that help develop a system in Weld County that will increase awareness of and access to workforce or career opportunities, eventually leading people to satisfying and rewarding careers.
