United Way of Weld County provides assistance and support of many individuals in Weld County through five focus areas: early childhood development, youth success, household stability, older adults and healthy aging, and access to service.
The Weld Trust was proud to award a grant in 2020 to United Way for their Community Health Worker program and the Housing Navigation Center. The grant assisted with personnel and program costs. The program works intensively and one-on-one with Weld County’s most vulnerable households. They embrace the housing first model, which focuses on meeting the individual’s basic needs such as housing and food, and then incorporating connectivity to additional services such as mental and physical health care. Through this program, United Way helps individuals regain housing, obtain employment and recapture stability in their lives.
The Weld Trust is also a proud Cornerstone Partner which helps support the administrative costs of United Way of Weld County.
