The Weld Trust® Announces Expansion of Leadership Team.

  • Jeff Carlson appointed CEO
  • Mike Bond appointed Chief Operating Officer
  • Kyle Holman appointed Director of Health Grants and Fundraising

Tom Grant, Board Chairman of The Weld Trust® announced the expansion of the organization’s leadership team, including the appointment of existing leadership to permanent positions.

Jeff Carlson has served as the Executive Officer for TWT and its predecessor, NCMC, Inc., since 2017, and has been affiliated with the organization since 2009 as a past board member and Chair.  Carlson brings more than 20 years of non-profit experience to leadership team and was instrumental in the negotiation and sale of NCMC to Banner Health in September 2019.  “Jeff’s extraordinary efforts in coordinating the sale of the hospital to Banner has positioned The Weld Trust® to have unprecedented impact on the health and education needs of Weld County,” said Grant.   “His deep knowledge of our history and mission in tandem with a seasoned non-profit background will serve TWT well as we continue to grow our team.”

Mike Bond has joined The Weld Trust® as its Chief Operating Officer.  With more than 30 years of banking experience in Greeley, Bond is deeply connected to Weld County, having served on several non-profit boards throughout his professional career, including The Weld Trust and United Way of Weld County.  He will oversee all grant-making activities and development.  “Mike’s deep roots in Weld County coupled with his management experience make him a natural fit to help lead The Weld Trust® as our COO,” says Grant.  “He will be instrumental in connecting with our community partners and carrying out our mission to promote excellence in health and education.”

Kyle Holman, Director of Health Grants and Fundraising, has previously served as CEO of the NCMC Foundation, which will now be supported by The Weld Trust®.  Holman brings more than 20 years of development experience, including nearly 10 years with the NCMC Foundation, and is a lifelong resident of Weld County.   He will continue to lead a fantastic and experienced development team as well as oversee health grants and fundraising.   “Kyle’s leadership and his ability to bring his development team on board is critical to us as we launch our grantmaking activities,” says Grant.  “His leadership style and his Weld County roots will be influential in creating a great culture at TWT.”
