Developmentally appropriate books in up to 30 languages for 10 Weld County partner clinics to be distributed to children during wellness visits. The program will impact over 10,500 children, including approximately 1,876 newborns and 1,000 children from a new partner clinic.

Developmentally appropriate books for 4,800 children, ages 0-5, delivered directly to their home each month.
Weld County Local Coordinating Organization 2022
Develop and implement their role as Local Coordinating Organization pursuant to the State of Colorado’s mandated Universal Preschool Program.
Weld County Youth Mentorship and Volunteer Program
Mentorship, life-skills coaching and emotional coping strategies through equine and animal assisted programming for at least 100 unduplicated vulnerable youth to promote positive mental and behavioral health.
1000 Books Before Kindergarten
Books and learning activities for children and families to support a culture of literacy at home and build their own home library.
Active Student Leadership Opportunity (ASLO)
Training for college-aged mentors in social and emotional support strategies by mental health professionals for rural high school students identified as members of the migrant education program to provide mentees with career exploration.
After-school soccer programming
After-school soccer programming for 72 3rd-5th graders from Title 1 schools to teach commitment, time management, confidence and teamwork.
