Curriculum Enhancements

Creative Curriculum and necessary materials to teach preschool children. Early Childhood University is a community partner with Greeley-Evans School District 6, providing preschool at no cost to families for 96 students through the Colorado Preschool Program.

District 6 Middle School Fresh Fruit & Vegetable Program

September 13, 2024

Nutritious snacks for middle school students in the K-8 schools where the program already exists for K-5. The USDA provides this snack for K-5 students only.

District 6 READ Act Specialist Support

September 13, 2024

Two READ Act (Colorado Reading to Ensure Academic Development Act) specialists for two years to help close the learning gaps and get students reading at grade level by the start of fourth grade.

District 6 School Food Pantries

September 13, 2024

Purchase necessary equipment to install a food pantry at each school site within District 6. Additionally, will flash freeze left-over food items into trays that at-risk students can take home to their families.

Domestic Violence Housing Stability Assistance Project

September 13, 2024

Rental assistance for those impacted by domestic violence to move from the safehouse to stable housing. The program also provides tenant and landlord education to increase access to affordable housing.

Education and Direct Support

Education and career support, parenting programs, financial literacy classes, and housing assistance for teen mothers to support long-term self-sufficiency.

Family Connects HIPPY (Home Instruction for Parents of Preschool Youngsters)

Training and mentoring for parents, at-home childcare providers, as well as Family, Friend and Neighbor (FFN) providers to improve school readiness.

Food Donation Program Improvements

September 13, 2024

Support an Executive Director position to provide organizational stability for one year. Purchase a reliable refrigerator for food storage.

For Our Children -Weld

September 13, 2024

Individualized and small group academic support to low-income children who are substantially behind grade-level.
